Welcome to Energy Fuels

Energy Fuels’ mission is to build a fully-integrated uranium and vanadium production company that incorporates exploration, development, acquisition, mining, ore processing and sales. We target historically proven and highly prospective uranium properties in the western US, which can come to production quickly. Energy Fuels has assembled a team of uranium and mining professionals, with the experience, knowledge, and ethic to accomplish this mission.

The current business strategy of Energy Fuels is two-fold:

  1. Consolidate uranium and vanadium mining properties.
  2. Develop the Piñon Ridge Mill to process uranium and vanadium ores.

The Piñon Ridge Mill will be the first conventional uranium and vanadium mill built in the U.S. in 30 years. Energy Fuels received final approval for the Piñon Ridge Mill from the State of Colorado on March 7, 2011.

The Piñon Ridge Mill is of great strategic importance, because the United States currently lacks uranium processing capacity. There is only one uranium mill operating in America at this time, located in Blanding, Utah. The Piñon Ridge Mill will serve as a catalyst to the opening of mines in western Colorado and eastern Utah. This region once produced the bulk of uranium globally, and can once again become a principal uranium producing area of global significance. The Piñon Ridge Mill will make a substantial contribution to U.S. domestic energy supplies, providing the raw material for the manufacture of fuel for nuclear power generation.

To supply the Piñon Ridge Mill with ore, Energy Fuels is developing and consolidating uranium and vanadium properties in Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. To date, Energy Fuels has acquired property interests in six formerly operating uranium mines. Energy Fuels has permitted and refurbished the Whirlwind Mine, near Gateway, Colorado. In addition, Energy Fuels has permitted and made significant progress in redeveloping the Energy Queen Mine, near La Sal, Utah.

Energy Fuels continues to pursue consolidation and property acquisition opportunities that create strategic value for the company and its shareholders. Our merger with Magnum Uranium Corp. in the summer of 2009 was a major step in accomplishing this strategy.

Our control of historically proven and highly prospective uranium properties, the permitting of the Piñon Ridge Mill, and a proven ability to bring new and developed mines into production places Energy Fuels in a strong position to accomplish our mission.

Energy Fuels, Inc. is an Ontario Corporation trading in the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX – “EFR”).
