TORONTO /CNW/ – Volcanic Metals Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: VME) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert J. Leinster, CA as a director of the Company. The board has granted 100,000 options to acquire 100,000 common shares (‘Shares’) of the Company at an exercise price of $1.00 per Share pursuant to the Company’s 2006 Incentive Stock Option Plan. The options are exercisable for a period of three (3) years from the date of grant.
Mr. Leinster is Chairman of Cenit Corporation. Prior thereto he was a Partner, Grant Thornton LLP; an international accounting and consulting firm specializing in business valuations and mergers and acquisitions.
Volcanic Metals Exploration Inc. is a Toronto-based mineral exploration company in uranium & vanadium projects located in the State of Colorado through its wholly-owned subsidiary Energy Fuels Resources Corporation, and with gold, base metals and platinum group projects in Newfoundland and Quebec.
